Workday Integration Specialist
Responsible for delivery of integrations as part of global implementation of Workday Programme, delivering to agreed scope within planned time, cost and quality parameters to satisfy the specified requirements and drive for customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Provide solution and integration development with Workday HR and Informatica including requirements gathering, functional specs, design, custom development, integration build, testing, and deployment
- Perform analysis and effective diagnosis of issues and manage day-to-day client relationships
- Responsibility for managing and delivering the project to cost, schedule and technical performance as defined by the signed off business case or project charter
- Engage with HR, Finance, IT, 3rd party vendors to plan and execute
- Track schedule, cost and resource at least monthly, through established project review rhythm
- Build a global template of the solution and preserve the integrity of the solution
- Ensure business readiness state is properly understood and achieved at critical stages
- Ensure effective and open communication throughout the project team and with stakeholders
- Manage transition from completion of project activity to the full adoption by the relevant sustainment organisations including lessons learned
- Identify and monitor project risks and opportunities, plan and implement mitigation plans, capture plans, and resolve issues
- Lead or participate in Project and Programme Reviews
Essential Skills
- Workday HR experience, within an in-house role.
- Hands on Technical Lead with Workday HR
- Has experience of Workday Studio, XML , Workday Integration and Core Connections
- Has proven experience Developing Workday and employees Best Practise on Workday
Supplementary Skills
- Workday HCM and Integration Core Certified required
- Experience with Informatica required (highly desirable , although not essential)
- Knowledge of data management, SQL and RDBMS technologies
- Knowledge of Single Sign On technologies, such as SAML, Okta and Microsoft ADFS
- Proficiency in SOAP-based web services is also required
- SOA design principles desired
- Experience with Apex, SOQL, XML/XSLT, JavaScript also desired
- Exposure to Workday configuration and custom development strongly preferred
- Application development experience with Javascript, XML/XSLT, HTTP, Java, C++, ASP, SQL
- Strong presentation and communication skills are required
- Enthusiastic, professional, and confident personality, with a focus on customer success
- Excellent listening skills to fully understand the customer requirements and pain points
- Ability to translate customer requirements into implementation plans
- Technical acumen to convert plans into real solutions that work
- Driven by customer success with a team player attitudeYou will be working with sensitive data and as such you should be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline) & Disclosure Barring Service Checks before being able to commence the contract
